Definition
IMK is Denmark's Internet Field Map. The IMK_areal source field records the area drawn and declared for the field in the relevant edition. openlanddata therefore displays it with the reader-friendly label Declared area.
Why it matters
The value belongs to the declaration's field geometry and edition. It is neither a cadastral area nor a new survey and may differ from other area calculations because of rounding, projection or changed boundaries.
